I have a boot screen, but it is not there for long, then nothing, no signal.
could this be a problem with power supply? replaced the v-card with same results.:confused:

2.4 P4, 3gigs of mem, gigabyte mobo, twin 250 HD's, twin Dvd brners, 250w
power supply, running xp pro, no problems until last night, loaded up a dvd to burn and went to bed, got up this am and had no signal to moniter, restarted and only got boot screen, so i ran out and bought an upgraded vid card, but still getting the same results, just thought of it now but i wonder if the vid driver was dropped durring dvd burn.

whoa bomma you can run all that with a 250 watt PSU? I don't have half of what you do and I run a 500 watt PSU. I would really look into a more powerful PSU, that could be part of your problem. Bad cables, or even the monitor on it's way out might be something to think about, you might double check and be sure your driver is there, how it would have gotten itself uninstalled from just burning a disk I don't know, but it never hurts to check. I'm sure someone will have more ideas, hang in there.

went out and got myself a 600w power supply today, everything is working fine.
