Hi everybody,
A help is needed.
I have a Microtek scanner "ScanMakerPlus E3".The model no. is MRS-600 E3.
I cant find a data cable for it.I dont know what kind of cable will it require.
As have vast experience in electronic repairing I can solder one if I get proper data (pinout).
It has got 3 connectors at rear.
1)first is labeled "PORT A" & it is 25 pin male.
2)second is labeled "PRINTER" & it is 25 pin female.
3) third has got no label & it is 15 pin (in 2 lines: 8+7)female.
Anybody having data of pin out for a suitable cable please reply.

Welcome to http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/pcgubb.gif

Go to http://www.microtekusa.com/ and find your exact model. Look in the discontinued models pages. Some are for Macs, some for pc's, others for both Macs and pc's.

By your description there seems to be no exact model but '600' and 'E3' are mentioned in more than just one. Port 'A' goes to the computer. I'm not entirely sure but it appears that you need a printer cable, probably a 25 pin parallel cable. The manual I read on that site shows your scanner in between the computer and the printer which is odd to me.

Not odd at all

It is Just an old model.
Many models in that time were In-Line scanners
computer-scanner-printer
You need the correct drivers and two parallel printer cables
