Sometimes when I'm using my computer, and playing games my CPU fan just stops. No error message no nothing. I didn't realize it stopped till I looked at the Temperature and it scared me it got over 80 Degrees C

Can anyone help me to find a solution to my fan randomly stopping while computer is in use?

it may be failing but also there can be a setting on some mobo that switches the fan on and off at certain temps ie when its at 35c turn off fan and wait until i gets to 70c stupid i no but still happens does the fan come back on?

the fan doesn't come back on, I had to manually spin it like literally get my finger and spin it around, and then the fan starts spinning again.

That sounds as if the fan is failing. Best thing to do is replace it.
