Im having trouble installing my second sata hard drive. It's a WD5000AAKS. It is recognized in BIOS and device manager, but not in windows. Am I forgetting something?

Try Disk Management. Possibly it hasn't been initialised.

It's actually the same capacity. One is using binary and one is using an SI prefix.

1 binary GB (or 1GiB) = 1.024x1.024x1.024 = 1.073741824 SI-GB (or 1.0737 GB)
465 GiB = 465x(1.024x1.024x1.024) = 500 GB.

Have you given the drive a name yet? ie. Drive Z:/

Not hijacking this thread, but it sounds similar to my prob...how do you
give a drive name when it does not appear in MY COMP?
