I got 3 systems and the printer is installed on one on them. The other two are accessing the printer throught network and i have to start the system on which the priter is installed to get the print job done.
Is there a way that the main system is not disturbed for the print. I can install the printer drivers on all the systems, but i don't know how it will work on lan.

How are you connected from the one PC to the printer? USB? Parallel cable?

You can add a "print server" device to operate the existing printer. The three PCs tell the print server to print the job.

You can get a printer that has an Ethernet NIC card included. In this one you can put the printer on the LAN and all are independently printing to it as a local TCP/IP printer. Very fast printing this way.
