I have a toshiba satellite 105cs laptop. It spontaneously went to the shut dowm screen and will not leave it. It is at the screen that says " it is now safe to shut down your computer." We have tried shutting the computer off, nut it just comes back to the same screen. I wuold sure appreciate it if someone has any suggestions. Thanks.

If you truly shut it off, that should not happen. Are you sure you didn't just put it into suspend or sleep mode?
Does the laptop have a reset button? Most do, but they are well-hidden. Try to find it, usually in the back, and give it a push...
