I am trying to reinstall windows 98. I had the kak worm virus and a bunch of IRQ problems so I decided to reinstall. So I fdisk and formatted but when it comes to setup it freezes after 100%. So I put red hat linux on to completey wipe the drive, now when I try to install windows after setup the monitor goes blank. I am completey stumped. I would blame it on hardware but Linux went on fine. Anyone have any suggestions. By the way this is a awesome site

You may need to use the MBR (master boot record) option with fdisk, I am not exactly sure of the format of the command but this will give you a keyword. Try looking around this site there is a lot of info here.
