Hi all, I bought a gateway gt5028 a while back, and the hard drive fried. I got a new one, and am unable to run the system recovery disk, in spite of the prompt that says I can. Anyway, I called them up and learned that this seemed to be a pretty common problem for this model, and in order to get the new hard drive to work I'd have to do some sort of reformatting with IDE tables. Can anyone help?
