I'm trying to clean out a partition on my 300 gig HD. C has all my windows stuff, programs etc. When I try to delete files or move files around, I get the error
Cannot delete (insert name here): Access Denied
Make sure the disk is not full or write protected.
I've look around a little, but so far found nothing.
Please help

Are you trying to delete these files from within Windows? I don't think you can delete files that are in use, though I'm not sure because I've never tried deleting active programs or system files. ;)

Are you trying to clean-up (tidy-up) or clean-out (reformat) everything?
If they are not system files/folders you could try deleting things in Safe Mode, when most non-system files will not be in use.
You can also sometimes regain access by taking ownership (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308421) but you need to ask the question of why access is being denied in the first place or you might finish-up deleting something of value.
