I have a COMPAQ P3 laptop whose hard drive failed. The drive was a Toshiba HDD2183 (MK6021GAS) 60 GB as per the attached link.

Can someone suggest an inexpensive replacement? The specs say the interface is ATA-2,3,4,5 Interface. Will SATA work?

Will one of these drives work?

Your help will be appreciated.

No, a SATA drive will not work...

Any of the drives here will...

No on SATA because the original drive looks to be PATA/IDE.
The 3rd link drive may work, that looks to be IDE.
