Hi all.
Seagate site says:
The operating temperature range for most Seagate hard drives is 5 to 50 degrees Celsius.
Note: With our newer model drives, the maximum temperature is now at 60 degrees Celsius.
That's cool.
But what is a "Newer" drive???
From what capacities, would you say?
I am asking with respect to my 500GB Seagates, and 1x 400GB Seagate.
The three 500GB's are brand new, the 400GB is about 1 year old(from brand new).
Some clarification would be great.
:)
The highest temperature of all drives has not yet exceeded 44'C, so I feel that I am safe, but would just like to clarify which from which capacity they might consider "Newer" to be.
Thanks.
