My computer locks up when I try to open e-cards or greeting cards sent to me via e-mail. When I click on the hyperlink or attachment, the e-card will start to open, then the computer will lock up, I must then reboot the computer. When I go to an e-card site to send someone a greeting, the e-card will start loading for me to fill in the persons e-maill address..ect. and the computer will lock up on that site also. Is the problem in Outlook Express 5, or are there some settings/adjustments that are needed to be made?
Any help will be deeply appreciated!!!!
Thx

Sounds like either Active X or Java problem. Go to the Tools option in the manu bar at top, and choose Internet Options. Click the advanced tab and disable java. See if that helps.
Then go to Start\Settings\Control Panel\Add/Remove Programs and highlight Microsoft Internet Exlporer and Internet Tools and click the Add/Remove button and run the repair feature. Maybe that will fix it. Don't know if Outlook Express has a repair feature, but try it. You can always cancel the add/remove if it's not there, before it acctually starts to remove Outlook Express. It always asks if you really, really, really want to remove it...
