I recently restarted my computer after it has been sitting
idle for a few months & found that it would not start. It is
calling for a reboot disc that I don't have. Is there any way
to reboot my computer without a reboot disc? I have an old 486
with windows 95. I would like to get it up & running & I don't
care about any files or folders lost.

If it's asking for a boot disk you'll have to have one, can't boot without it. Try Boot Disk (http://www.bootdisk.com) or you can make one on a friend's win95 machine, not win98, it's a different boot disk. Go to Start\Settings\Control Panel\Add/Remove Programs and click the Start Up Disk tab. Have a floppy ready.

If you had everything...Where would you put it?
