I recently repartitioned and formatted my HD because it wouldn't boot up. After partitioning and formatting the HD I started to install Win98 and it gets to the message "copying files needed to run setup" and then the cd and hd just freezes up and quits. I have tested the Hd and nothing shows up as being defected. I can copy files from the cd to HD without any problem. I have tried other OS and the same thing happens. I have even copied the win98 directory and the setup file to the HD and tried to run it from there but the same thing happens. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you may have. Thanks.
