ok.... please someone tell me my motherboard or cpu are not bust...newly built system...I have tried all kinds of things, taking the whole system out of the case and booting with the basics, checking and rechecking the jumpers, wires, chips..etc. I checked the power supply, the video card, the monitor itself. Nothing ever appears on the screen. Memory is fine, in it's correct config. The only thing I can think of is perhaps, when I bought the memory it said pc133, but the package and the guy at the counter claimed it would work on a pc100(my bus), and perhaps it doesn't work with a p3. I am using a soyo SY-6BA+IV board. Can't think of much more, I am real frustrated. Any ideas would be utterly wonderful.

Wonder how many times I've forgotten to turn on the monitor, had a video card only half plugged in, CPU not seated, power cable not plugged into the wall...and I've been doing this for several years...That's how we learn...
