hey i just bought a fatal1ty gaming headset and i tried to plug in back and front jack but the sound OR the mic don't work and for some sec ago the sound did work but now i cant hear a sh**
i am using vista
and i have SoundMAX black hawk

please help me

If you have the speaker icon in the lower right of your desktop...right-click and open the volume control... Check to see if the mic is muted...or, if you even have the mic listed.

you could also download Ubuntu, or some other flavor linux, burn a live CD of it (you actually need an ISO burner to do that. just another program to install...) and test it in the live CD.
