Hey guys.

Just wanting to purchase a new video card, wanted some suggestions :).

I was thinking either the ati 4870 or geforce gtx 280 or 260.

I currently have:

asus M2N-E motherboard
amd athlon x2 dualcore 4200+ 2.2ghz
2 gb ram
geforce 7600 gs

there are so many- when I chose mine (waiting for new pc build parts), I just kinda went to the price range I was willing to pay..... narrowed down to the features I wanted (wanted Nvidia), read reviews about potential problems, then picked 1 that didn't have any size issues or quality issues or driver issues.

If you go high-end like that, especially coming from a 7600 GS!, you'll have to make some other changes.

- Radeon HD 4870 1GB version --OR-- GeForce GTX 260 Core 216
- +2GB more RAM (you'll want 4GB total at least)
- better PSU to handle the vid card
