I have a Intel Desktop Board D915GAV/D915PGN motherboard with a LPG-500W power supply in my PC. After switching off recently and then trying to switch no again nothing happens. Why is this so? When shorting pin 16 (power supply remote on/off) to pin 17 (gnd) things start to happen. Can I keep the two pins shorted to see if it will boot up or is this a no-no? I borrowed a dummy load and checked all voltages are OK. Is there a web site where I can get a circut diagram for this motherboard?:confused:

interesting what where you doing before resetting it?another thing does it don anything like does it beep or just does not turn on?

sounds as if the on/off switch is faulty, does the case have a reset switch? if it does them use that as the power switch, and just swap the conections on the board
