i have the machine brother dcp115c ive downloaded the drivers exactly for that model from the official site of brother company.

my problem is when i install it somehow it stops and tell me to connect the cable to the machine. turn it on and then the procedure will continue automatically .

i did what ever it sais but i didnt see any procedure t continue by itself



can anyone help me..?

hey i managed t fix the problem 4 anyone t know i went t device manager and i noticed a problem indicating the usb ports .. somehow i had t make the usb ports t recognise my printer so it can install the drivers.. i fix the problem and in the usb port from device manager it said the name of my printer and i tried installation again and it worked

Uninstall all the previous drivers first. Remove the USB cable from the printer and POWER on the printer.

Begin a fresh install and you will re-connect the USB cable only when the software tells you. Then REBOOT and windows will find the new hardware and it will work.
