Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me with this keyboard problem i have...

i'm currently running vista on a vaio laptop,

anyways, the main problem is when I run any sort of first person shooter games, my keyboard almost completely stops functioning (all of my letter keys, and number keys). However, my modifier keys all work. So if i push something like... ctrl + w... i can move my guy forward, but if i only push w, nothing will happen.

Similarly, this problem occurs in any flash program (such as games)

I'm guessing its not hardware, because I used a USB keyboard to check it (same problem). And runs perfectly fine in safemode (with networking)

so ya.,.. ne1 have this problem before? know any programs that may be running in the background that blocks keyboard function? perhaps some sort of vista setting?

(I should add... if i were to play somethign like a rts, the keys work perfectly fine.)

A little more specific... what's your VAIO's model #?
