I just bought a iBUYPOWER Gamer Extreme 907i Desktop PC - Intel Core i7 860 2.8GHz, 8GB DDR3, 1TB SATA II, DVDRW, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTS250, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and it came today. I start it up and am about to install the wireless disc and ... the drive wont open. I tried to manually open it with a paper clip in the hole but that didnt work. When i hit the button the little light goes green but nothing happens.

Note: I have never opened it.

Send it back under warranty. If you try opening the case you risk invalidating the warranty

At least contact the manufacturer's tech support. They may just ship you a new drive, under warranty and allow you to swap it.
