Each time I turn on my PC the term..Driver memory error appears
also but don't know whether the two are connected but the term Vortex Tray Control IDO NO appears. The second of the two has only appeared today but is accompanied by a flickering monitor...help?

Are you using a Vortex sound card? If so, that might be the source of the second problem. Look around on this page (FAQs, Drivers, Forum) for info:

As for the Driver Memory error, it could possibly be related to the Vortex error. Could you give us a bit more info on your system, what OS you're using, and where you see this error message (i.e., on the DOS screen while booting, in a popup box when you get into Windows, etc.).
