Hi everyone,
I am required to have a laptop next year for high school. Ideally, I wanted a Macbook Pro, but they're too expensive at the moment. So instead, I am looking for a decent PC laptop to hold off for a year or so until I can afford a MacBook Pro.

Here are some things I'm looking for in a laptop:

-Fairly inexpensive (ideally less than $500)
-Lightweight
-Decent processor/memory
-Approximately 15 inch screen

Just a suggestion, how 'bout a netbook? Most high school students don't need a computer for anything other than homework, papers, and web browsing.
