I installed a video card way back, and then later i uninstalled it using its uninstaller, and then installed a new video card and went on down the road...but...it is still showing up in the Add/Remove programs menu. And if i try to remove it, nothing happens and it just stays there. There are no registry keys for that video card, no nothing, just that one little menu entry. how do i get rid of that entry?

TweakUI can remove entries from the Add/Remove menu. TweakUI is on the Win98 CD, and is also available for download from many sources. Go to www.microsoft.com (http://www.microsoft.com) and Search for Q190643 for installation details.
TweakUI has a number of other Windows customizations.

Nuts & Bolts EZ Setup utility can also remove entries.
