I recently purchased a new mother board and ram for my compaq 5180 and when trying to boot it comes up on the compaq screen and it says 164-memory size error and freezes.How can I get to the bios to change this?I have tried hitting F8 and F10 but nothing happens.Please help me with this.

Watch for the cursor to move to the top right hand corner of the screen and use [F10]. I think it's the second screen during boot, you have to watch for it or you'll miss it. You'll have about 5 seconds.
