This cdrom was given to me by a good friend in working order, but it does not work with either of my three computers. The tray goes in and out constantly and while it shows up in BIOS and the system properties as the exact drive it will not read or stop that irritating back and forth. Any ideas ? Did you see it work on another computer??......It sounds like a CD that has gone haywire to me...the drawer shouldnt go in and out unless there is a hardware problem or you have the power connector in backwards, which I seriously doubt!!
