Have been having trouble accessing my floppy drive (3.5). Tried to do a Norton Rescue Disk w/my zip drive and floppy. When inserting a number of 1.44 floppy disks, I kept getting the message <A:not accessible - File System Error (40)>. Any suggestions?

If the cable to the floppy drive is on correctly and you put a known good floppy in and the error continues......you have a defective Floppy Drive and it needs to be replaced.
