I have sent back my damaged Western Digital 20GB Hard Drive to the company and they happily gave me a new one because its under warrenty. But they also sent back the bad hd as well and I was wondering if it can be repaired? The problem lies on the logic board as I know of because the HD spins up for a few seconds then stops...it has power but bios will not detect it anymore... Please help save the hard drive, I dont wanna toss it out. Thank you.

By the time you take it to someone who can actually repair the logic board or whatever the actual problem is .......they will charge you typically at the rate of $75 per hr. and you could buy a new HD right now for about $88 !!
