Anyone used ImageCast3 to copy disks within the system. I am trying to do this. But it stopped after it copied 19% and the free memory kept going down. I canceled it. Any idea what I should do?
What I have read about ImageCast sounds like it is primarily designed to clone drives across a network. If it is a GUI program, running within Windows, I think there would be problems cloning one drive to another inside the same computer, since Windows would have files open. Ghost works at the DOS level, which avoids this conflict. I haven't been able to find the program documentation to find out how ImageCast might work for you.

Should I format the destination disk or will the old data be overwritten?
Thanks!
I think I should drop out of this thread since I'm only guessing, since I have not used ImageCast, but it seems that the cloning software should be able to partition and format the new drive.
