Hi any raid experts,

I may get a job to sort out some high end servers that have Raid 5 arrays and a seperate partition in which windows is loaded. The Windows being loaded to C:, the rest of the partition and array drives(6 drives) set as D: I don't need to alter any data on the D: raid arrays. Will it be safe to just format the C: partition and re-install windows without losing any data on the D: drive and keep the raid array in order?. I presume it will be but have not dealt with such a high end raid array before.

Any advice welcome.
