I am setting up a system from old components.
AT 486dx33 motherboard, ok video card, sus hd controller.
System fires up ok but does not recognise either floppy or hard drive, says that they do not exist.
Hd controller (Total Peripherals, Chip- Gold star)
There are 13 jumpers on the card. Where do they belong?

IMO your only hope to get the Controller Card working (assuming it's not defective) is to go to the web site of the mfg of the controller card to learn what basic settings will work...that could be difficult. Maybe PETE can give you some ideas, but you are working with mighty old stuff.

Thanks, I'll try a new controller as they are cheap.
