Win 2K Server/Yamaha SCSI 8x8x24/EZ CD Creator 5.0

I don't know which is causing the problem, but when I got to burn a CD, everything works fine till the final phase of the burn process. I think it's when it's closing or finalizing the CD, EZ CD Creator locks up. It even happens when I just do a test burn. The only way I can stop EZCD is to kill the process. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance....

A few things come to mind. Easy CD Creator 5, what version do you have?? Platinum?? If you got the Easy CD software as a standalone version, go to the following link for technical information on Win 2000;

You may also want to go to the web site of the manufact. of the drive, as these issues can be seen with some bundled burning software that comes with the CD drive. In that case, go to the web site of the CD drive for patches and updates/directions, as support is usually provided at the manufact. web site. Sometimes weird things happen with the installation and you may need to uninstall, then reinstall the software. It took me a patch and three installs to get this software to work with my HP drive - to complete the buring process successfully.
