I just had my motherboard and processor upgraded to an AMD Athlon 800, and put my memory to 256MB. i also installed a CD RW. since all this happened, my computer constantly freezez up when playing any games that I easily played before when it was a 400Mhz with only 96MB of RAM. Is this a possible hardware problem or is rthere something that i can do in Windows to fix it???

You might find that it is purely a configuration problem. I have just upgraded from a PII 400 to an Athlon Gig on a Gigabyte GA-7ZXR motherboard and am experiencing similar problems, especially on bootup. I cant help you too much but at least reasure you that you are not on your own.

Check your BIOS settings, and maybe lowering the video resolution or color settings might help as well. Check the video options in the games also, sometimes lowering the detail and screen size will make a difference.
