My latest computer had Sound Blaster Live preinstalled. My only complaint with it is that I can't get any sound to play in MS-DOS mode. This is a big problem when trying to play old games that only work in MS-DOS. Can anyone help? I've tried everything I could think of!

Have you installed the DOS drivers? Sound cards need special DOS-mode drivers loaded, usually, and they can be tricky to set up... I haven't done it in a while myself.

I'm pretty sure that the dos drivers are loaded, since I get a message indicating so everytime I restart in MS-DOS. Also, SBLive came with a little program that simulates whether sound should work in MS-DOS or not. I did get sound in that program, but no sound in MS-DOS. I'll try to find out more about dos drivers for SBLive in the meantime.
