Windows Media Player Blue Screen

Hello! This is my first post to this group. It is a pleasure to join you.
Yesterday, I got my PC back from the shop.
My tech had re-installed Windows98,put in a new driver for my scanner, and replaced my Norton antivirus with McAfee.

When I brought up Windows Media Player, and selected a Net radio station, I got a blue screen crash.
The screen read:

"A fatal exception OE has occured at 00028:00000 235."

Can anyone please tell me what the root problem is?

if its window media 7 what ever the latest is mircrosoft is supposedly working on a patch it is known to have problems so ur not alone wait for the patch to come out download it (if it's not already availiable) but do not use the program until you get the patch.........
