No sound

I changed my power unit a couple of weeks ago. All components were running fine but I noticed the sound was out. The sound card is OK as are all volume controls and speaker plug. I may have failed to reconnect a plug in the box but can't find where. I need a run down on connections for sound or any other suggestions.

1. Check the wire running from CD ROM to sound card. (Not likely to be the main problem, only affects sound from CD ROM.)

2. Reinstall drivers.

3. Check in Device Manager for conflicts.
