I have a problem with my monitor. I don't know if is the video card or the monitor. I put the drivers but when i restart the computer , it show me this Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer. And i do it. When I turned it on is the same and I can't do nothing only run it in safe mode.

What can I do?

Sorry my English is bad but i hope that you understand

Thank you

Try this ,in safe mode, turn off the power management feature. To do this open control panel and then open the display icon.On the screen saver tab click "power" . Make sure the "turn off..." options say "never". Also change your resolution to 256 by clicking the "settings" tab and then change "colors" to 256. Now reboot.

If that does not work. Go into Safe mode again and type "msconfig" in the "run" box. On the first page you can select which "startup files" you want to load. Make sure "system.ini" and "win.ini" is set to "no" or is disabled. Then reboot. If this works let me know and I step you thur how to narrow down which option in those files is causing you a problem.

I'm betting that there is some power management driver which is not working to well with Windows.

Hope this helps and post agian if it's still not working.
