Just signed up for dialpad.com. Voices are sometimes 30 sec delayed. Call our second line in same room. Conversations came over phone and speakes 30 sec. later. In the beginning there was only a slight delay (1 sec) What can we do to fix problem? Is there a better service to use?

Hi,

There are MANY pc2phone voice/phone calling apps out there !! I am not familiar with the one u mentioned however that (30 secs) is way too long for something to happen !! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif

Icq has "Hear Me", yahoo has voice chat mode (both work well 4 me) http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
msn-im has a pc to pc calling phone jimmyjonejohnson thingie.. (sux)

I have had problems communicating w/ people who are on a slow dail-up connection. (I use dsl) While both parties are on dail-up it seems to work ok for them.. I dont know if the dsl is sending data too fast for the 56k modem to interpret or what .... but it is a fact.

You will find LARGE differences on which program will work best for you. This also is unpredictable due to too many variables, keeping in mind that the major item of concern with this type of app is your connection and the connection of the party u r trying to communicate with!! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif
