DVD sound.

Ok: I tried to add a patch to my dvd player to make it non-regional.
(my dvd: is i think a hitachi gd 5000 , with cinemaster c hardware).
The patch sorta worked: it played both regions one and two, but all sound disappeared.
I removed patch: no sound
I reinstalled dvd driver: no sound
ARRGGHHH!

Check Device Manager for conflicts, it sounds like the installation of the DVD caused a conflict somewhere. If you see a yellow ! or red X double click on it and it should bring up the troubleshooter to help solve the problem.
