Monitor Problem

I have a minor problem that I am sure there is a quick setting fix for. After my PC has been idle for a while the monitor shuts down. When I attempt to continue working on my PC, the monitor does not come back on (i.e. moving the mouse around, pressing a key on the keyboard). Help!

I've had the same problem with some motherboards and Win 98 (are you using Win98?). What I did is go into Control panel/Power Management and set the monitor to "Always On" and it obviously stopped doing it. I havent seen a fix for this one out yet. You can leave modern Monitors on 24 hr a day to the same screen and it won't "burn in" a image, so that is not an issue.
