Hello gang.
I'm messing with a Toshiba laptop now. The problem is with the DVD playback. It plays audio cd's fine and the one DVD that I am trying plays fine in my Compaq under the same programs. When I open the DVD program it auto runs then gives me this,"Unable to create video surface". When I hit "OK" it then tells me "ERROR Renderfile" on the Toshiba DVD Player, or in PCFriendly it gives me a box that says "d:\video_ts\Video_ts.ifo" The only option at this point is to hit cancel. When I do this I get "This DVD Video not supported by your system. Check driver intallation or ensure valid file type.
OS is "ME" uuugggg http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif . Best I can tell is it was an upgrade from 98. PII with 128mgb ram.
Let me know if you need more info and I already know what to expect about windows ME. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Thanks....Frank
