At first I couldn't get the AGP Radeon LE to work at all in the AGP slot on my SD11 mobo. I discovered that it works ok once the SB Live!(CT4620)
sound card is removed. When both cards are installed on the board at the same time the computer won't even bootup. I tested the computer with other sound cards(some old cards laying around a friends shop) and it runs fine, but will absolutely not work with any Creative sound card. Anything that you might suggest to get things going with both the Radeon and the SBLive!,which is the sound card that I prefer since It's paid for, if you know what I mean.. Thanks

It sounds like your vid and soundcards use the same IRQ. Does the cards have jumpers to set these (no, propably not). You can change them from Win too, Controlpanel->system.

Well I actually thought of that and made sure to move the sound card around to different PCI slots just in case, but remember the real problem here it that the computer won't boot with both of these cards installed so I can't actually check where they're positioned once running. There's obviously something about the SBLive card that is differrent from other
sound cards that is preventing it from cooperating. Just don't know what, but hopefully someone will or I have to replace it. Thanks for tryin'

What is different is that it propably uses the irq in question as default http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
Do you have an other vid card? Try booting with it & change the irq with the sb installation program.
BTW are you sure the SB works?

You MIGHT have a value in the BIOS SETUP(delete key at startup) which allows you to run the video card WITHOUT an IRQ.......if you do, change the bios setting for VGA(It's probably in the "Advanced Settings" or "PNP Perpherals" area) to NO IRQ and try the setup again. It should work then.
