Hello,
I have a p3 computer and when I click on netmeeting the icons shrink so small on the desktop I have to reboot to get back to normal,I tried going into properties to set down to 16bit instead of 32bit but did not work.I also have another program called eyetalk and when I click off on the multimedia icon it shrinks and message shows cannot load s3 drivers..
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated ..thank you ..note I have directx 8.0 version ..

Sounds like the problem(s) may be related to corrupt drivers for your Savage video card (is that your card?). Check the Device Manager (press & hold a windows key then press the Pause/Break key) for conflicts (indicated by yellow exclamation mark). Could be as simple as downloading and updating your drivers.
On another note, while I have no experience with Direct X 8.0, I have seen several complaints about them in several diff forums. MS does have an update, DX 8.0a, on their update site. I'm not sure if it will cure your ills though since they really didn't cover what the updates are.
