Here is my plight:
I am running this board with a duron 800 have installed just the graphics card, voodoo 3dfx 2000 and attempted to boot, but cant see anything on the monitor( which is a viewsonic) I have tried booting up on bare hardware ie just voodoo and hard drive. when i put this in certain pci slots, the system just bleeps(constant long bleeps) and i notice the on board green led remains bright. If i put card in another slot . system does not bleep, but seems if it is going to post, led dims and flickers like a hard drive led , but again no display on monitor.

I know the monitor works as i have second system and all is fine there.

Here is my system spec

800 duron
voodoo 3dfx 2000( I have tried another card: svirge card)
creative soundblaster sound card although there is sound onboard
300w psu
128 meg pc 100 ram

I have no installation book and have been assured that this board was running fine when it was removed due to an upgrade.

any ideas?

would appreciate it

If it aint broke , why fix it?

Why put it off tomorrow when you can put it off for good!!!

Pull out the PCI or ISA sound card and recheck to make sure you have the MEMORY installed correctly.....you didnt mention anything about memory in post. You also have to have the keyboard installed to do anything when it posts up to the bios screen. Is the motherboard jumpered or jumperless?? Have you built any systems before this one?
Is this a socket A- 462 motherboard?
Will XP save Me ?
