VLPN(Very Loud Popping Noise)

The monitor for a work station has been on
for about 8 hours and is now making a very loud
popping noise about every 30 to 90 seconds.Image
slightly flickers each time it pops.
Not so good!!!!

My guess is that is on its way out and needs to be replaced ASAP, probably cost more to repair than replace.
