how do i put camcorder images on pc,wot port do i use ect?

Depends on what kind of camcorder you have...if you have a digital video camcorder, then you'll probably need a firewire (IEE 1394) port...if it's a regular camcorder, you'll need a video capture device, either a pci card or usb or firewire...
Dazzle makes a really slick video editing hub that has all kinds of in/outputs and is firewire...there are some ok usb devices, although their capture size is usually pretty small and they're a little slow...there are stand alone cards and also the ATI all in wonder series that do double duty as a video card and capture card...
And if you really want to spend tons of money you can blow several thousand dollars on a top of the line card...although they make pretty good ones for under $200...like the Winnov Videum...
