Hey guys... help please!!!!
I,ve bought a simple pen tablet that connects through a serial socket.
Running the dreaded M571 pcchips thing and Win98se.... no matter how I try the pc will not find or run the bloody tablet...Ive installed it on another PC and everything is found but on this one I dont even get a "New hardware found" dialogue. Ive even flashed the bios with the latest version but still no luck.
Com ports in Device Manager look fine and I can run a mouse through the port so I assume ribbon cable is fine (or will the pen tablet use more pins than the serial mouse?).... going crazy here please help!!!!!

If it didn't come with a driver floppy or CD check the manufacturer's website for drivers and install them. They should have a FAQ page too that you can look through and maybe some help will be there.

When you run the add new hardware wizard, try the pick your hardware from a list option.
