It is a Pentium 3..Quantex...less than a year old. 56k/560mhz 128ram
I had to replace the modem and now when I try to print something on or off line..about half way through the print job the computer power just goes..black screen...have to reboot. Please any suggestions. Thank YOU

Check Device Manager for conflicts, or boot into Safe Mode, remove the modem from Device Manager, reboot and install it again. Smells like a conflict somewhere...

thank you. I checked and device manager shows no conflicts. Before I continue want to make sure I understand. You think I should delete the modem from the system, reboot, then reinstall it? You don't think it is necessary for me to "physically" remove the modem do you? As like I said it and everything works fine, only crashes when I attempt any type of print project, then it crashes about midway throught the print. Thank you again for your help
