Further to previous post about GeForce 256 problems

Another question!!.
Now when my system boots up,just before the desktop appears,the monitor kinda switches off and back on again at a helluva fast speed!!!!.
It never did that before,whats it all about?.
It sometimes does this when a game is loading in as well,just as the game is about to start.

Give this a shot:

Boot up in Safe Mode and go to Device Manager. Make sure there isn't anything still posted concerning the ATI card.

If anything is found, use the remove option while there.
