I really don't know; I'd try the latest motherboard and video card drivers.

Did it start when you added new hardware or software? If it did try uninstalling the program or device and see what happens. Like kenya said make sure you have up to date drivers and check your motherboard or video card site and see if you can find any issues about freezing up and stuff. Also what kind of ram do you have, could try another stick , if you have it handy. And if you have 2 sticks try taking one stick out and see how it runs.

Thanks for all your help, installed a new fan and now every thing seems
to be working fine

I do believe this is PC Forum Guru iisbob's MB of preference. We might want to continue this thread a moment until he drops by and has a look-see, or one of the other Gurii (is that the plural) gives the all clear!
I'm a bit concerned about your CPU temp! I realize that your additional fan has helped with the freezes...but it sounds like this might bear a little closer inspection.
It might now take much for your system to go from warming bread to toast!
Better to be safe than sorry...
Oops, I see that you said "new fan," was this for your CPU, or air movement? Perhaps you have solved the problem and I'm just being paranoid! I cannot find the link, but we recently had an Athalon-Intel roasting contest and the Athalons came out far too crispy! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif
